Hello Dolphin parents and future Hart High swimmers.
Welcome to the tradition rich Dolphin Swim Team. I am so excited to be one of the coaches this summer and have the opportunity to give back to a program that was the starting point of my swim career. I have been a Dolphin since I was 6 years old and have many happy and fond memories. Being a member of the Dolphin Swim Team has taught me sportsmanship, respect, how to deal with success and setbacks, and what hard work can accomplish.
I swam for Canyons Aquatic Club for 11 years and was a 4 year Varsity letter award winner and Academic All-American my senior year at Hart High School. Thanks to my start as a Dolphin swimmer I've developed a love for a sport that has taken me from being a member of my neighborhood swim team to being a scholarship student-athlete at Oregon State University where I currently swim and compete for the OSU Beavers in Division 1 PAC 12. At OSU my teammates and I are actively involved in supporting the Corvallis community through various volunteer programs. I am majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry with plans of entering Medical School upon graduation.
This season the coaches are working hard to ensure your children will have a fun and memorable learning experience. The swim season, albeit short, is a fun-filled beginning to summer friendships. From all of the activities that bring the swimmers together, such as Float-in-the-Pool Night, Bingo Night, Pasta Night and championships, there is never a dull moment with the Dolphin Swim Team. My goal for this summer is to improve every swimmers' stroke, encourage them to have fun, and turn their “I can't do it” into “I did it”!
“Raise your hands up to the sky! Mighty DOLPHINS passing by!”
