Old Orchard One Dolphin Water Polo
The OOI water polo program offers an introduction to this challenging team sport, exclusively for all our Old Orchard One neighborhood residents, 12 years-old and up. The water polo basics, fundamentals and rules will be explained, team play encouraged, and some conditioning will occur. However, the main goal and focus will be to have fun. Lots of it.
This year, the program will kick-off on Tuesday, August 10,2010 and will be offered twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, until our community pool closes for the season (so the anticipated last session will be on September 30, 2010).
Good swimming skills are required to participate, i.e. everyone needs to be very comfortable swimming in deep water.
Cost: $25 per athlete (includes $15 USA Water Polo bronze level membership and insurance). NOTE: Registration with USA Water Polo needs to occur prior to getting into the water, without everyone properly registered we risk losing insurance coverage for all. The remaining $10.00 registration fee (to cover equipment, etc.) which will be collected on deck or earlier if possible.
Registration discount for families with two (2) or more swimmers. The fee for the first swimmer will be $25, second swimmer $20, and third swimmer $15 each.

Current or Past USA Water Polo members: 1. If you are already a member or have had a USA Water Polo membership in the past, you will want to login first by clicking on "Member Login" at: https://webpoint.usawaterpolo.com/wp/Memberships/League_Join.asp 2. Once logged in, mouse over "Join" on the left hand side. 3. Select "Join US Leagues." 4. Using the pull down menu, select Old Orchard One '10 League. 5. Athlete, Coach & Referee registrations are available to select, then click "Next" and complete the transaction. Silver & Gold members, Coaches and Referees are free! 6. Even if you have had a Bronze membership in the past, you will need to register again for this league and submit the registration fee of $15.00. Be sure to select the proper team (select Old Orchard One Dolphins). 7. Upon registration you should receive a confirmation page and email. 8. Use the pull down menu to select Old Orchard One '10 League. 3. Membership Types: Athlete, Coach, and Referee registrations are available. Select Athlete then click "Next". 4. Continue through the process to create an account and process the $15.00 fee and complete the transaction. Be sure to select the proper team. 5. Upon registration you should receive a confirmation page and email. 6.
