Luke Goorsky was born in New York and moved to Old Orchard I when he was only a few months old. Throughout elementary school Luke played a number of different sports, including the Dolphin Swim Team. Luke has played a part in the Dolphin Swim Team's success during the 11 years he participated and held 3 Old Orchard I Team records in the Butterfly at the end of his Dolphin career. He is entering his fourth year as a Dolphin coach and third year as head coach.

Chris Stroh returns to the Old Orchard Swim Team as our Assistant Coach, but this is not his only experience with the team.  He first began swimming at the age of 4.  Swimming on the Swim Team was a great time and he made many new friends.  His swim career with the Dolphins lasted 11 years and during that time he had the chance to swim every event in every age group.  Chris received the High Point Award 6 out of his 11 years on the Dolphin Swim Team and encourages young swimmers to always strive for excellence and work hard in practice because it pays off in the end.

Sam Peckham joins the Old Orchard Swim Team as one of our new Assistant Coaches. Sam has lived in OO1 since he was a baby and joined the swim team when he was 4 years old, Sam has been a dolphin all of his life. After swimming with the team for more than a decade, he is ready to come back and coach. As a swimmer Sam saw the team win many championships; as a coach Sam hopes to help lead the team to many more championships.

Greta Goorsky joins the Old Orchard Swim Team as one of our new Assistant Coaches. Greta was a member of the Dolphin swim team for 15 years. You guessed it, she is also the sister of Head Coach Luke! Greta was a member of the swim team for 15 years. She has completed her high school education at Hart High and will be attending the University of Dayton in the fall.
