SAM PECKHAM - INDEPTH INTERVIEW

Sam Peckham joins the Old Orchard Swim Team as one of our new Assistant Coaches. Sam has lived in OO1 since he was a baby and joined the swim team when he was 4 years old, Sam has been a dolphin all of his life. After swimming with the team for more than a decade, he is ready to come back and coach. As a swimmer Sam saw the team win many championships; as a coach Sam hopes to help lead the team to many more championships.

Although Sam did not partake in swim team in high school, he does bring strong discipline and determination to the Dolphins. Known for his work ethic and focus, Sam plans to utilize those tools as a coach.

 

 

 

 

As a 4-time Varsity team leader of Hart’s cross country team and a team caption on the Dolphins in his 15-16 years, Sam has the leadership skills to help guide the team. While he understands the value of hard work, he also understands the value in just having fun.

Currently Sam is attending Hart High School where he works hard on school and running. Sam likes math and science and hopes to study engineering in college. He hopes to attend Stanford or the Naval Academy after graduating from high school where he will continue running at the collegiate level.
