Chris Stroh returns to the Old Orchard Swim Team as our Assistant Coach, but this is not his only experience with the team. He first began swimming at the age of 4. Swimming on the Swim Team was a great time and he made many new friends. His swim career with the Dolphins lasted 11 years and during that time he had the chance to swim every event in every age group. Chris received the High Point Award 6 out of his 11 years on the Dolphin Swim Team and encourages young swimmers to always strive for excellence and work hard in practice because it pays off in the end. Chris is known for his great personality and ability to relate and coach young swimmers. He joins the team with a wealth of technical swimming knowledge and looks forward to coaching the Dolphins. Chris also swam for 4 years at Valencia High School on the Varsity Swim team where he was Captain of the Swim Team for two year

Chris now goes to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo (and misses Celina cooking him dinner when she went there) and swims the 400 IM for the Cal Poly Men’s Swim Team. He is majoring in History and hopes to earn his teaching credential to teach and coach at a high-school or collegiate level.
